The teething stage is a bad stage and well it lasts pretty long. As a mother feel so bad for your little one because there is basically nothing you can do to take away the pain all together making you feel a bit helpless. Remember that teething is a natural process that all babies go through, and it will eventually pass. If you have any concerns or your baby seems to be in a lot of pain, be sure to consult with your pediatrician.

I put together a list of 5 tips that helped me through my little ones teething stage and hopefully it can help you too.

There are a few ways you can help a teething baby:

1. Provide a cool teething ring or a clean, damp washcloth. The coolness can help soothe a sore, inflamed gum.

2. Offer your baby cold, soft foods like applesauce or yogurt.

3. Rub your baby’s gums gently with a clean finger.

4. Give your baby acetaminophen or ibuprofen for pain relief. However, be sure to follow the recommended dosages and check with your pediatrician first.

5. Offer your baby plenty of love, attention, and comfort during this uncomfortable time.
