My nonna’s famous sugar pizza! It is super simple and brings back so many memories every time I make it. So the next time you make homemade pizza set aside one dough ball for dessert. If you don’t have a good pizza dough recipe, you can find mine here.

Ingredients
- One ball of pizza dough
- Granulated sugar
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Stretch out your pizza dough on your tray. Let rise for 45 minutes or so.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- After your dough has risen, add a bit of olive oil (brush it on) top about 3 tablespoons. Make sure to cover all the dough but do not drench it.
- Sprinkle granulated sugar all over the pizza. For a rectangular pizza tray it’s about 1/4 cup.
- Cook for about 20 to 25 minutes or until you see the dough browned.
- Serve warm.
Notes
The amount of sugar varies, you can add more if you like it sweeter.
