When getting ready for another baby, as a mother you want everything to go smoothly, the transition, the kids at home anxiously waiting for you to come back and well all the new routine that is about to happen. So after having two kids and on to my third, meal prepping is one of the BEST things that has helped me.
SO about a month before giving birth, I have prepped and got everything ready meal wise for me and my family at least for those days that are overwhelming. I find having some pre-made meals can elevate the stress of a new routine that is about to arrive.
Here are some of the meals I prepped:
- Pasts Al Forno
- Stuffed Peppers
- Lasagna
- Chicken broth
- Meatballs (Pork, Beef, Turkey, Veal)
- Sauce
- Meat Sauce
- Chicken Parmensain
- Broccoli Sausage pasta
- Sausage, pepper and onion bake
- Gnoochis
- Pizza dough
- Beef Stew
- Leak or Cresty Soup
- Pasta Bene / with mini meatballs for brodo
There are a lot of meals that I can still prep, but I do not want the food to stay to long in the freezer. These are really meals for when both me and my husband feel overwhelmed and exhausted from our days.
