I did not know that making this recipe was so easy! I was so surprised that you could make Sucre a crème only using a microwave and the taste is just AMAZING!
Incase you are looking for a fast dessert for visitors or for a party this is defiantly it. I made this recipe a couple of times and also cut it up in 1inch square to give as a small gift to bring home. Everyone loved it.
What I also like about this recipe is you can make it ahead of time (about a week) and still tastes great.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of brown sugar
- 2/3 carnations milk
- 1/4 melted butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla/ or almond extract
- 2 cups of confectioners sugar
Instructions
- In microwavable dish melt your butter
- Add in your brown sugar, and carnations milk
- Cook in microwave about 10 minutes ( I do 8 minutes because mine is strong)
- Stop and stir every 3 minutes with wooden spoon (don’t let it get dry cook!)
- Using a hand mixer. add in your vanilla/almond extract and mix together.
- Once all mixed, on low speed add in your 2 cups of confectioners powder sugar one cup at a time. Watch the texture as you slowly add the sugar it does impact your texture.
- You can then add whatever else you want such as ( nuts….) again a little at a time.
- Let sit and harden
And enjoy!
Notes
You can add any type of nut you like to this recipe.
